The Indian government passed three new Farm laws in September 2020. These laws have sparked massive movements by farmers across the country. While the government claims that these laws are revolutionary and will change the face of Indian farming and bring prosperity to farmers, farmers and farmers unions have challenged these laws and claim that they’ve been brought in to benefit big corporate houses and capitalists. ChalChitra Abhiyaan explains the problems with the new laws and how the farmers stand to lose from them.
